Lil Wayne just dropped “Grindin,” the second single from Tha Carter V, and, of course, it features Drake. This beat was produced by Boi-1da and Vinylz and it definitely plays. Lil Wayne channels his auto-tuned voice from the Game’s “My Life” and uses it to craft a decent hook. I wasn’t blown away on the first listen, but I’m sure it will grow on me. Be sure to grab your tickets to the upcoming “Lil Wayne vs. Drake” tour, should be good energy from those two. What do y’all think of this new Weezy? Check out “Grindin” below.
