Full to overflowing with eco- friendly family fun and learning, attendees will enjoy Yoga, Dance, Music & Art Workshops, Gourmet, Whole, Live & Vegan Foods, Wellness & Healing Oasis, Kuumba Children’s Village, Sustainable Living Marketplace and Drum Circles. The Vision:
Created by founder Rickie Byars Beckwith, legendary New Thought performance artist , acclaimed singer songwriter and Music & Arts director of The Agape International Spiritual Center, the Rhythm & Joy Festival is a soulful celebration that proves the impact of music as a catalyst for change. More than an alternative music festival or sustainability conference, RAJ is a transformative experience bringing together iconic music and performing artists , innovative speakers and socially responsible entrepreneurs for a full day celebration of community and creativity.

This years Rhythm & Joy Festival is excited to partner with Artist For Traumaand The Valley Cultural Center. Artist For Trauma, AFT is a 501c3 non profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of both civilian and military trauma survivors by pairing recovering patients with established artist from various disciplines. The organizations aim to expediate recovery through artistic expression and human connectivity is in perfect alignment with RAJ 14. We are encouraging the support of AFT as they are assisting in expanding the vibrations of rhythm and joy to our communities encouraging growth, recovery and healing.
Founded in 1975, the Valley Cultural Center has been at the forefront of culture, arts, and arts education for more than thirty-five years in the San Fernando Valley. Our host, VCC, has graciously included the RAJ 14 Festival in their Concert on The Greens series which attracts some 140,000 attendees annually. Located in the beautiful city of Woodland Hills, Ca, at the Lou Bredlow Pavilion in Warner Center Park.
History:
Last years inaugural 3day music festival held in Simi Valley at Hummingbird Ranch, hosted some 3,000 attendees and iconic performance artist and speakers like Chaka Khan, Verdine White of Earth Wind and Fire, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Common, Youssou N’Dour, Me’shell Ndegeocello, The Grandmothers (formerly Mothers of Invention), Arielle, Brenda Lee Eager, Luc & The Lovingtons, Dwight Trible Cosmic Band, Niki Harris, Deva Premal & Miten with Manose, Don Miguel Ruiz & Don Miguel Ruiz Jr, Peggy Callahan, Rickie Byars Beckwith, The Agape International Choir, Rich and Carin Clayton, Michael Bernard Beckwith

The Rhythm and Joy Festival will be included in both Artist For Trauma and VCCs very ambitious marketing, PR, promotions and advertising strategies as well as that of our media sponsors. Our marketing reach includes the affluent neighborhood of Woodland Hills and the immediate surrounding San Fernando Valley, the greater Los Angeles area from the city of Downey to Glendale, Ca.
