We welcome all to join us on the journey to a better future with our R.O.A.D Charter School Dance Program Showcase & Dance Vibes Calendar of Events for 2024 and beyond. We’re reaching out to all within the community for this year’s Academic Projects & Programs where we provide a safe place to for children to display their gift and talents. We offer a range of dance choreography captivating our African American and Hispanic cultures within our programs. This March 22nd join us for our Community fundraiser and showcase with our special guest MOON “Mothers Of Our Neighbors Hood” who will be giving out free clothing, and community resources for all, Dj Smoov on the one’s and two’s, Motivational Speaker Vinny Gonzalez, and much more. We will have Live entertainment direct from our R.O.A.D students, activities, vendors, snacks, and beverages catering to our local communities. Also make sure to save the date; June 2nd for our grand opening to the dance world at The Ivy as we’ll be scouting for potential dance instructors to join us on this journey. "I Am Limitless, Dance is Language!" - R.O.A.D
We invite you to join us in part of our ROAD events and programs where we assist our students to thrive in their light within our after-school dance program, field trips, activities, and more. R.O.A.D - (Reaching out and Dancing) originated in Cleveland Ohio to encourage students to use physical dance movements for self-expression. The founder Mr. G being from a Foster home, wanted to create a safe haven community where the students have fun and make friends while they build their academics, principles, etiquette, and morals, inspiring them to believe in their dreams and accomplish them. Through creative expressions, R.O.A.D teaches children with ADHD and some traits of autism, through our “Dance -N -Mind” lessons; to express their feelings through the movement of dance, allowing them to break some communication barriers between parents, peers, and teachers. R.O.A.D is an innovative academically inclined program designed for children to succeed academically & Socially on a journey to a better future.
