Out of Watts, California, engineer and artist Ajaxx, aka Ajaxx on the Board and/or @jaxxofalltrades on Instagram, earned his name from his hometown and colleagues due to his multifaceted approach to music and entrepreneurial business ventures, adopting "Ajaxx" as a shorter version. He has spent years honing his craft in the city and the music industry. His passion for music was sparked at home, thanks to his father's musical background, which included writing for legends and filling their home with timeless sounds. With music deeply ingrained in his roots, it was only natural for Ajaxx to step into the artist's role himself.
Determined to bring his vision to life, Ajaxx first found himself behind the mixer board, recording his own music at home and engineering sessions on the go with his mobile setup. He graduated with a degree in Recording Arts from the Los Angeles Recording School in 2012. As he graduated, he interned with powerhouse production duo Midi Mafia (50 Cent's "21 Questions") and Atlantic Records, and has also worked with Rostrum Records and Roc Nation, where Ajaxx has been able to start making his mark in the industry.
Ajaxx dropped "Eastside Love Letter" on March 17th, 2026, a 7-track project featuring melodic hip-hop with a little R&B and West Coast vibes. As Ajaxx trends on the tracks of many other talents, he is also building his own discography and making waves from the West Coast and beyond.
