O.G Shanksta is a hip-hop artist whose musical inspiration are musicians like James Brown, Michael Jackson, and Stevie Wonder. He grew up in the King Kennedy projects and lacked access to the basic needs. Trials and trauma pushed O.G Shanksta to be influenced by the blues genre. He always taps elements, forms, and nuances from the blues regardless of the style he is composing or working on. Shanksta describes his music as genuinely authentic and different as it comes truly from the deepest, honest, and most true part of him.
