CRAZY HOOD FILMS EXPLORES HIP HOP IN HAITI #COMINGHOMEHAITI
Crazy Hood Film Academy has embarked on an ambitious project to explore hip hop in other countries specifically countries least thought to have a thriving hip hop scene. The series was inspired by their first documentary "Coming Home" which follows the Crazy Hood crew to the island of Cuba. Following Cuba the crew made their way to Peru to film their second installment of the "Coming Home" series. "Coming Home: Peru" is set to start screening next month at selected venues and film festivals. For their third film in the series the guys visited Haiti. Haiti had always been at the top of the list due to Haitian Americans in and close to Crazy Hood as well as the Haitian influence and presence in Crazy Hoods home town of Miami, Florida.

The "Coming Home" Series was developed and produced by Miami's hip-hop activist known as DJ EFN who partnered with rapper Garcia, who records for EFN's Crazy Hood label. Revolt TV (P. Diddy's network) presented the premiere screening of "Coming Home: Haiti" at Miami's Little Haiti Cultural Center on Aug. 16. Here it a teaser.
