As we noted last week, the best way to transfer to the upper echelons of fame is to have a fashion line. Everyone’s done it– Kelly Osbourne, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj and now, Iggy Azalea.
The Australian rapper has been tapped by Steve Madden to create a line of shoes
with her special touch. “The idea for a collaboration came about a few months ago when Iggy performed in Brooklyn as part of our Madden Music series,” a spokesperson for Madden told Fashionista. “She has an extremely gifted eye for fashion, and we’re working on the collection now.”

The news isn’t a huge surprise as the talent is signed to Wilhelmina Models, is the host of MTV’s “House of Style” and the face of Revolve clothing. Fashion is definitely her thing.

It’s Azalea’s first legit fashion collaboration” reboot and what is arguably the year’s most stylish music video. Her own fashion choices are bold to say the least, so we look forward to seeing what she comes up with.
No word on when the collection is coming, but based on her ever-fresh style, we know it’ll do well.
