Upcoming Market Weeks and Trade-shows
We have four market weeks and six trade shows coming up, starting at the end of September and going through mid-October. First up is the LA Gift & Home Market at the California Market Center (CMC) September 28-30, followed by the LA Int'l Textile Show September 29 - October 1, also at the CMC. With October comes, LA Fashion Market, October 13-15. Select showrooms will be open on October 12 for Sundaypreview, and a series of trade shows running in conjunction with market week. Utility Boxes Get a Makeover
The LA Fashion District joins the list of DTLA neighborhoods whose grey utility boxes are being transformed into public art statements. The box in the photo is located at Olympic Boulevard and Main Street. The artistic and colorful utility box make overs are made possible thanks to Council District 14 that was also instrumental in passing the city's new mural ordinance
