BMB Records Announces Additions to Roster and New Studio Projects

Detroit's hottest indie label adds popular local rapper & celebrated producer to roster and shares plans for new music releases

DETROIT, MI, (AUGUST 11, 2014)--BMB Records has been 'Breaking Major Barriers' for a solid year now. As the fall season approaches, the thriving indie label is announcing powerful additions to their roster and new projects from talented veteran and its freshmen recording acts.

BMB's COO and best known artist is Grammy-nominated songwriter and emcee Charli Baltimore who became popular in the early 2000's for the hit "Down A** Chick" alongside rapper Ja Rule. Fresh off of a 2014 BET Awards Best Female Hip Hop Artist of the Year nomination, she is continuing her musical comeback with the release of a single "Bed Full of Moneyfrom her upcoming full studio album ETHOS. In addition to aiding in the direction and development of BMB Records' younger stars, on the horizon for Baltimore is the Female Hip Hop Honors on September 13, 2014 where the Philly native is being honored with the "Unstoppable Woman" award. Later this month she will join daughters India and Sianni in their 1st professional photo shoot together in nearly a decade in Los Angeles, the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta and the celebration of her birthday on August 16th.
Also signed with BMB Records is young gun, Cash Paid who made his solo musical debut with his first single "Get Paid", which was featured on his Sump'N Gotta Shake mixtape released earlier this year. The Motor City rapper has been building a buzz across the country with appearances at the A3C Music Festival in Atlanta, SXSW in Austin, Beauty & The Beast SWAG Lounge in Los Angeles and throughout the Midwest on the Big Heff Industry Tour. Cash Paid's latest offering is "Got Em Mad", an upbeat track slated to go to radio in the coming weeks.

Memphis born rapper, Lil Lody, also known as Lody Lucci, may be new to the BMB lineup, but he is no stranger to the industry. He has produced 'come back' tracks for Young Jeezy and bangers for Rick Ross, Yo Gotti, Plies, Tyga, and several others. With press features in XXLComplex and countless blogs, Lody has garnered the admiration of his peers and an ever-growing fan base. In the studio and on stage the rambunctious performer is hard to tame with a vernacular all his own. The accomplished beat maker is making a seamless and laudable transition into becoming a recording artist. He joins label mates Cash Paid and Midwest Rico on the Big Heff Industry Tour promoting his joint "Why They Hating?"as the current focus in preparation for his upcoming mixtape Theory 3. BMB plans to drop Lucci's full feature album in 2015's 1st quarter.

Rounding out the BMB Records Fall 2014 roster is Lavelle "Midwest Rico" Hall Jr. who first gained popularity with the music group BRL with Grammy-nominated gospel singer Kierra Sheard. As his musical forte evolved, he honed his skills by opening up for artists including Gucci Mane, Kid Ink, Dom Kennedy, Curren$y, and Machine Gun Kelly. On the tour with his new BMB family, Rico is now gearing up to release his self titled project Midwest Rico, with the King Sulieman produced single "Bang Bang".
BMB Entertainment CEO Brian M Brown is the visionary behind the growing empire's mission to break major barriers and set new standards in the entertainment industry.
