“She Knows” the Born Sinner
single that has been getting some serious airplay has just received its
very own short film. J. Cole continues his recent trend of shooting
conceptual short films instead of more traditional music videos. “She
Knows” is a banger, but it also touches on some real shit and in this
video Cole flips the gender perspective, but sticks true to his
narrative. I really like this video as it explores infidelity’s impact
on children (something Cole touches on in “Never Told”), and manages to
touch on silence, masculinity, and male camaraderie. Sam Pilling
directed the “She Knows” videos and he does a great job tying it all
together. Dope song and a dope video, good look for J. Cole.

Husband Jay -Z. From Kanye West, Rapper Future, The Weekend and now Los
Angeles Dj / Rapper Diplo has put together his rendition of Drunk In
Love with called “Biggie Bounce” We’ve decided to put a list together to
let you be the judge who has the better version.
Personally
Beyonce’s original version featuring Jay Z is by far the best but for a
remix Kanye West is definitely getting the most buzz do to the fact of
the raunchy lyrics taking what was the ladies anthem to a hood rat jump
off is actually the official remix.
With
references to fiancé, Kim Kardashian in the horrible “Bound 2 Video”
(“I put you on that bike, you ‘Bound’ girl”). Kanye’s lyrics completely
sexed up the track and of course he took it to another level that even
ex model girlfriend Amber Rose goes in saying Kanye West ruined her
favorite song.

even a day after the release of the remix, Beyoncé dropped a 30-second
video as a chap-wearing cowgirl wrangling horses putting the stamp of
approval on the controversial version by Yeezus.

Cash Money Records Signs Young Thug #YMCMB

rapper Young Thug seems to be the talk of the streets with his
flamboyant look and questionable sexual preference. Why it really
matters is beyond me but seems like everyone wants to simply know if
this dude is straight or gay. At the end of the day what matters is if
he makes good music and not if he is straight or gay. Who cares if he
comes out being the so called first openly gay rapper. We need to get
over ourselves and let people be. Gay or not you have the option to
either like the Atlanta based rappers music or not. Young Thug already
has a few hits like “Stoner” and “Danny Glover“ its no wonder that he
has already landed a deal with Cash Money Records. Young Thug spoke on
his idol “Lil Wayne” in an interview Fader Magazine and now it appears
that his dreams of being signed with YMCMB has paid off.
Cash
Money Records will be releasing (Rise of an Empire), as well as new
albums from Lil Wayne (Tha Carter V) and Nicki Minaj (The Pink Print),
due out in 2014. Now adding Young Thug
to the roster is going to make it a hell of a season for the label.
Gay, Straight whatever you feel you need to classify the rapper doesn’t
matter. He has landed on one of the hottest Hip Hop labels with some of
the hottest rappers in the game.
